As both an entrepreneur and a parent, the first day of school always makes me reflective. What was once a day of angst and endless photos has now become a quick “See ya” as my teens head off—one to high school, the other to middle school. We still snap the obligatory photos, but it’s different now.
These moments remind me how quickly time flies, both in life and in business. One day it’s the first day of kindergarten; blink, and it’s the first day of 10th grade. The same goes for your entrepreneurial journey—milestones pass before you know it. The lesson? Don’t take anything for granted. Savor the big and small moments, celebrate your wins, and steer your business wisely. Do this, and one day you’ll find your business and your team has grown up, just like your kids—less angst, more pride as they confidently face new challenges.Until next time,
Bill
